SMAN 2 Sumbawa as the high school that consisten with the culture of Sumbawa

SMAN 2 Sumbawa (SMANDA) as international school from Sumbawa island in Indonesia still consisten to learn and keep the Sumbawa culture by many activites that correlate with Sumbawa culture such as Traditional Dance, Rabalas lawas (Traditional Drama with romance theme), and Vocal Group competition that held in this school.

In November 23rd 2014, SMANDA held the competition of culture with theme "Mahakarya SMANDA 2014, The cultural assets holding inspiring young generation" many participation from 18 classes from 3 grade they are first grade, second grade, and third grade in SMANDA. This event take the attention of Sumbawa society to watch the event.

This competition will be held every year as the aggend of  this School we hope this event will bigger in the next year. Every classes present the best performance to all of the audience with 3 Judges that will be score they performance. "Indonesia rich with the cultural, so with our culture we can promote our school as the one special things from another school in Sumbawa and West Nusatenggara province" Mr. wahyu Said (Judge from This Competiton). Beside that on April 6th 2014 SMAN 2 Sumbawa held the Japanese culture fair withe theme "Mari bersenang-senang dengan budaya Jepang (Let's we happy with Japanese culture)" this event held on April 6th 2014. combination with Indonesia culture with his Hijab and Japenese culture with his kimono.

On this fair so many programme such as Japanese Cosplay, Student with his kimono, Japanese songs, and many others. The aim of this event is to explore about Japan culture, because Japan language is the one of lesson in this school. From this event we hope all of the SMAN 2 Student learned and applied the dicipline and Hardwork of Japense people. So now Japan is the one the biggest country of the world. SMAN 2 Sumbawa (High School) hope someday they can cooperation with Japan in education and cultural sector. So, the student can learn and promote the cultural and education in Japan.
